My name is Zoe, and I am the proud
owner and founder of Carvd Academy and Carvd.
Let me introduce myself a little more.
Since 2008, I have been working in the beauty industry, starting at the young age of 12, under the watchful eye of my mother in her flourishing salon, where I started off by performing waxing duties. At 15, I ventured into a hairdressing apprenticeship, which lasted for a year, but I soon realised that it was not my true calling. After exploring various other industries, I returned to the beauty industry, this time in makeup. However, I found that it was challenging to pursue it full-time, so I introduced eyelash extensions while continuing to work as a dental assistant in 2018. It was then that our business started to take off, and I added brows to our services before deciding to take the plunge and turn my passion into a full-time business, operating out of my home salon.
After building a robust client base, I realised that my options were limited in the small town where I was based, so we relocated to the Gold Coast in Australia, and that's when things started to get real. I started developing my first online masterclass, which turned out to be a huge success. Over the last two years, I have released several successful masterclasses, and I've discovered my true passion, which is teaching students how to become exceptional artists by sharing my specialised techniques. To fully pursue this passion and give it my all, I had to temporarily give up my salon, Carvd. However, it has opened up new opportunities for me to travel worldwide and offer in-person training, live webinars, masterclass workshops, and live demonstrations.
I can confidently say that I've answered my calling and I'm now living the life I've always dreamed of.
OUR BUSINESS
JOURNEY
Previously known as Lust Brow Academy & Lust Brow Bar, our business has undergone a rebranding and will officially adopt a new name on March 31st, 2023.
This change was prompted by our desire to distinguish ourselves from others in the industry and better reflect our values, mission, and vision. Our new brand identity represents our commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their goals and we believe this transformation will enable us to better serve our customers and community.
Our business was originally established in 2018 as a home studio specialising in client services. In 2020, we expanded to offer Online Brow Masterclasses in response to high demand from our social audience.
Following a successful launch, we separated our company into two entities to differentiate the importance of each and enhance our academy's potential for success. Soon after launching our first masterclass we released 2 more and enrolled over 800 students by this point.
After acquiring a deeper understanding of the education industry, we realised the need to enhance our Masterclasses and introduce a revamped curriculum. We replaced our previous courses with three new Masterclasses and within a month, we enrolled 396 students. With over 3000 students now officially enrolled as of March 2023 our dedication to delivering exceptional value to our students drives us to continually improve and reform our Masterclasses every 2 years, allowing our students to benefit from our newfound knowledge, techniques, and high-quality products. Furthermore, we regularly update our Masterclasses with critical information throughout the 2-year cycle before introducing new classes to replace the old.
If you are not already aware, we have a vast following of 1.4 million on multiple social media platforms, making us the world's leading brow community.
We have been featured in news articles and platforms such as The Daily Mail, The Insider, Lad Bible, Snapchat Discovery, and Huda Beauty, among many others.In June 2022, we unfortunately lost our main Instagram account, which made it difficult for our audience to find us. However, we were fortunate to have a backup account that allowed us to rebuild and create an even stronger and more supportive community than before.
